Winter (and Christmas) is coming!! Well, winter is sort of coming here in Florida, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t feeling the holiday spirit too! I found this tag on YA Books Girl‘s blog, so go ahead and check her out, if you are so inclined. Ok, onward with the holiday questions!
Do you have a favorite winter read?
I haven’t read any books that are centered around Christmas themes since around middle or high school, honestly. I do think that Harry Potter, at least the first two novels, give off very wintry/Christmasy vibes. Recently, though, A Court of Frost and Starlight was a lovely winter read. There was snow and holiday cheer and cozy sweaters and gift giving. It was very enjoyable.
Find a book with a blue cover.

Find a book you’d use as the star on the Christmas tree.

Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation.
I choose Winterfell. Now, it’s probably not the most cheerful holiday destination, but it is so pretty there and you are guaranteed some great snow. Just convince the Starks to put some lights up around the joint and it would be stunning for a winter vacation!
Pick one fictional character that you’d take with you on your winter vacation.
Hmm I have no idea. I might take Legolas, because he would be fun to hang out with on vacation and explore the castle grounds with. And, the main reason I’d take him, is because he can walk on top of the snow when he wants to, so I could demand piggy back rides when I was sick of trudging through it 😂. Perfect!
Name a book, or books, on your wishlist this year.
Favorite holiday drink, treat, and movie.
Favorite holiday drink is definitely hot chocolate with some peppermint schnapps in it. It is fabulous! I am not sure about a treat really. Does clam chowder count? That sounds odd haha, but every year my family does a neighborhood holiday party and my dad makes the best clam chowder. That is the only time of year we have it, so I think it counts! It is sooo good. And as for movie, I have always been partial to Home Alone, A Christmas Story, and The Grinch.
I’d love to hear what you guys have to say about the season, as well! I tag anyone who is feeling festive! Thank you for reading.

I love your choice for a book to use as a star for the Christmas tree, it’s perfect 😍

Thanks!! I realized with that question that I have no true book covers with stars on them 😂
